![]() How would I go about getting past the bedrock so I can access the loot promised in the quest description? There's a quest that requires me to go to the TOP of the nether, and i've made it nearly to the coords listed in the quest, but there's some bedrock that keeps me from getting to the top. I don't really care much for digging up the dirt they make. I can engage them like I might normal creepers (hit em once, duck behind something to reset their timer, and then run up and hit em twice to kill em), but about 1/3 of the time they do explode, usually a fair bit away from where I am, creating a nice big blob of dirt for me to dig up. But if you run into a room filled with too many spiders then you can either use a water bucket to slow em down or use a bucket of gelid cryotheum or lava to reduce their numbers.įor me, it's the dirt creepers that I find annoying. Once you've gotten the better armor types then you can pretty much just tank them and keep mashing your left-click until they're all dead. Iron is easy to get so once you're decked out in full iron you can deal with them easier, but it's better to just engage them tactically (use terrain to your advantage). Sure there are lots of em but if you just kite them (keep backing up and strafing) they're not really too difficult unless you don't have any armor or good weapons. I don't have too much of a problem with spiders myself. Since some of the dungeons have been updated, it is possible to get the most current version of them in the your save by going into your save file and deleting dimension 2+, and replacing those with the dimensions 2+ from the new template folder in the minecraft directory.
